The Storefront Theatre’s resident company, The Red One Theatre Collective returns to the Storefront stage with the cautionary tale of The Forest. Based on the popular 19th century children's stories by Hilaire Belloc The Forest is a staged exploration or "living exhibition," where no two performances are exactly alike. Audiences will be given the chance to experience the stories through a visual and theatrical medium as the Storefront’s space transitions from gallery to theatre and back again thanks in part to the visual artistry of Matt Ward. But be warned, though inspired by tales for juveniles the ROTC’s The Forest is adult entertainment for the naughty child in all of us, and not suitable for young audiences.
